This Internet based software provides the industry with a real-time, online tool that puts the power to manipulate harvest forecasting and planning back in the hands of the farmer. It provides a platform for scenario planning and what-if analysis. Financial restructuring can be tested, and its impact on cash flows determined.

Agri4cast is designed to provide optimal harvest forecasting information, catering for both local and international markets. It forecasts not only bulk yield, but also pack-outs and qualities.  Data is benchmarked according to the architecture of the orchard, which includes tree ages and farming practices.

The system produces various reports including production and volume summaries, and financial reports.  It includes a scenario planning section where the client can see the impact the impact of production changes on his/her cash flow.  The system ensures that the client has real-time information that allows them a better position to negotiate with exporters, and do their long term planning.

The database contains benchmark information needed for the system to accurately benchmark farms against production areas.  It includes benchmark information of many commodities and varieties. 

It includes algorithms and statistical information researched by the University of Stellenbosch, to ensure that the data meets industry standards, and can withstand statistical scrutiny. 

The system has a range of reports, which can be exported to MsExcel of PDF format.
